| Max Kohn - psychoanalyst, journalist and author What is the secret of Jewish humor? Freud thinks that jokes must be distinguished from humor. A joke requires that someone is listening, but humor is a conflict between the ego and the superego. Through humor, the ego can be stronger than the superego. Max Kohn will present examples from his new book, Vitsn: mots d'esprit yiddish et inconscient (Limoges: Lambert-Lucas, 2008).
