| The Gaon Legacy Society is named for the 18th-century Rabbi Elijah Ben Solomon Zalman, the Vilna Gaon, who was known for his intellect and for the importance he placed on tzedakah. In this spirit, we recognize the generosity of supporters who help secure YIVO’s future by making planned gifts. To become a member, simply inform us that you have named YIVO as the beneficiary of a bequest in your will, made a charitable gift annuity or assigned to YIVO a bank, brokerage or retirement account or a life insurance policy.
