1. Help

For general help on search and navigation options, click on the help button on the search screens. There are also various help links next to specific search categories on the search screens.

2. Search Procedures

General steps
To do a search, type words or phrases in field(s) you want to search and click the " Search " button. You can also browse terms in a specific field (e.g. author) by clicking on “Browse”. Twenty records are displayed per page in brief format (in a table).

Modification of Search and Starting a New Query
To modify an original search query, go back to the query screen by using the " Back " button of the Internet browser, then modify the search question.

Search Tip
The " Keyword " search covers the major fields in the database and is a valuable search field for general queries. For specific queries select “Browse”, and then click on individual fields, like Title or Author).
